This procedure is necessary to reset the indicator lamp that tells you that it s time to replace your lamp.

Press the power button so that a picture is projected onto the screen press the menu button to display the main menu and then press the f or g button to select option press the enter button to display the option menu and then press the 5 or 6 button to select lamp runtime.

The lamps used in panasonic projection tvs have limited lives. After you have changed the lamp on your panasonic dlp television you want to be sure to reset the lamp counter or timer on the television. You really should only do this after you have replaced your dlp lamp. Unlike regular light bulbs they can break or explode when they evetually die.

Press the volume down button on the projection display and hold down the zero button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
